Gut rehabilitation

Colon health can be an important component in the treatment of chronic illnesses and symptoms. In the case of digestive disorders, it can be a useful complement to osteopathic treatments.

From an evolutionary perspective, the intestine is one of the oldest organ systems in our body, if not the oldest! It provides energy and building materials for our body and our daily life. At the same time, it represents the largest surface to the outside world through which our environment can influence us or even penetrate us.

Much of our immune system is located around the intestine and controls what happens in it or what passes from it into the blood. This means that the intestine also has great potential to influence and overwhelm our immune system.

Our feelings and actions are even directly influenced by the intestines via the vagus nerve (nerve of the intestines). If the intestines are not healthy, we are not healthy. Conversely, a healthy intestine can also have a positive effect on many symptoms and illnesses.

In addition to a detailed medical history, intestinal cleansing treatment may also include laboratory tests to enable individual measures to be taken. The measures include, for example, individual nutritional advice and behavioural changes.
